Debits.Credits.Account codes.Journal entries.Just tap Right
Behind the scenes, Kept keeps proper books, so your accountant or an auditor can follow every figure. You only see plain questions in plain words.
Three moves
Snap it. Kept reads it. You tap Right.
That is the whole routine for a receipt.
- 1
Snap it
Take a photo of the receipt when you get it, or upload the PDF your supplier sent.
- 2
Kept reads it
Kept reads the supplier, the date, the total and whether it is a tax invoice, then finds the card or bank payment that goes with it.
- 3
You tap Right
You see one card with Kept's suggestion. Tap Right, or change what is wrong. Only then does it go into your books.

What Kept covers
Everything in one place, from receipt to tax return
Nothing gets lost between the receipt, the bank and the tax return.
Invoicing
Create quotes, invoices and credit notes from your own price list. See at a glance which customers still owe you.
Purchases
Photograph a bill or receipt and Kept reads it. You confirm, and it is filed with its VAT. Purchase orders, stock and staff expenses sit alongside.
Bank
Bring in your bank statement and Kept matches each payment to its invoice or receipt. Set a rule once and repeat payments sort themselves. Accounts in other currencies work too.
VAT
Your VAT return is filled in from your books. Open any box to see what is behind it, then file it yourself.
Corporate tax
Kept works out your corporate tax from your year-end accounts and shows the reason for every adjustment.
E-invoicing
Kept already builds invoices in a structured format and keeps every version. Sending them is not switched on yet: the UAE specification and a provider connection are still to come.
Payments and receipts
Record money in and out, whether cash, cheque, card or transfer, and link it to the invoice or bill it pays.
Getting paid
Give customers a statement of what they owe, keep a record of your reminders, and write off what will never be paid.
Year-end accounts
Get your year-end financial statements (IFRS for SMEs) from the same books. Assets, loans, budgets, job costs and a cash forecast are tracked along the way.
Recurring invoices
For rent, retainers and other repeat charges, Kept prepares each invoice when it falls due. You check it before it is issued.
Your AI assistant
Connect Kept to an AI assistant such as Claude. Ask about your books in plain words, and let it draft invoices, file receipts and record payments once you say yes.
A record that holds
Last quarter cannot be quietly rewritten.
Once something is in your books, it never changes quietly. Mistakes are fixed with a correction you can see, finished periods are locked, and a filed return is sealed so its figures cannot shift. Your accountant can always trace a number back to where it came from.
- Every correction stays visible
- Finished periods stay locked
- Filed returns keep their figures
With your AI assistant
Ask your books. Or have the work done.
Connect Kept to an AI assistant such as Claude. Ask about your figures in plain words, and hand it everyday jobs: drafting invoices, filing receipts, recording payments. It asks you before anything goes into your books.
- Works with assistants that connect to online MCP servers, such as Claude
- Reads your figures, from what customers owe to your VAT listing
- Asks before it issues an invoice, books a receipt or records a payment
Questions you may already have
Read all questionsWhat do I need before I can use Kept?
You need your company details and a chart of accounts (the list of categories your money is recorded under). If you are switching systems, bring your opening balances and the invoices and bills that are still unpaid.
Can my accountant have access?
Yes. Kept has separate roles for the owner, staff and an accountant. There is also an auditor role that can view but not change anything, and its access can have an end date. An accounting firm can work in your books after the owner accepts its link; the owner can end that link.
Does Kept file my returns for me?
No. Kept prepares the VAT return from your books and the corporate tax calculation from your financial statements, with the figures and documents for a person to check. A person files the returns; Kept does not submit or send them to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
Do I still need an accountant?
That depends on your business and the advice you need. Kept prepares records and calculations for you to check, but it does not include an accountant or replace professional judgement.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. Kept works in Arabic and English, with the Arabic interface reading right to left throughout. Invoices carry the customer's names in both languages.
Stop typing in receipts. Start checking them.
