What is not ready

What we are still building

Most everyday accounting work is in place. These are the limits that still matter.

  1. 01

    Working today

Keep complete books, with your opening balances entered item by item. Handle sales, purchases, payments, salaries and gratuity, long-term assets and their loss of value, stock counts, loans and money the owner puts in or takes out. Import bank statements and match them, including accounts in other currencies. Prepare VAT and corporate tax work, financial statements under IFRS for SMEs, budgets, costs per job, cash forecasts and exports for your accountant. Close the month or year, with the source and the decision behind each figure kept.

  2. 02

    Work you still review

Check invoice drafts before you issue them, supplier details before they go into your books, and VAT and corporate tax work before a person files the returns. Kept does not make those decisions or file with the FTA for you.

  3. 03

    Not built

Kept does not fetch statements from your bank by itself. You import the statement file your bank provides, and Kept matches its lines.

  4. 04

    Waiting on published specifications

Kept prepares e-invoices in a structured format, but they are not yet tied to a published UAE specification or connected to an accredited provider. Kept does not send or file them.

We would rather make these limits clear before you start using Kept.

Stop typing in receipts. Start checking them.

Kept is launching soon in the UAE. Leave your name and email and we will write to you before it opens.

We use your email only to write to you about Kept.
